Project Graduation is a program designed to keep our seniors off the roads on their graduation night by hosting a drug and alcohol free overnight lock-in event – all free to our graduating seniors. This annual event is funded by donations from parents and members of local businesses and civic organizations. GHS has consistently ranked in the top 3% nationwide in participation since it began almost 20 years ago and we hope to continue that tradition. BUT WE NEED YOUR HELP!
We need your ideas, your time, your services and your skills. We need to raise approximately $79,000 to provide our kids with a memorable event that is at no cost to any of them. This is our goal – we want all our kids to be there – safe and sound! Here are some examples of the kinds of things that we may need:
- Printing services
- Paper supplies
- Raffle prizes – cars, boats, jet skis, vacations, bikes, sporting events, spa services, etc
- Media outlets
- Event venues – restaurants, party rooms, hotels, golf courses, etc
- T-shirt production
- Celebrity endorsements for hosting events
- Food services
Anything that you think might help – we would love to talk to you about it!
But as important as all of those things – we need your time. If you would like to help in our efforts to provide our kids with a safe celebration – please join us at our monthly meetings held at Market Street in Colleyville.
